Rice and pigeon pot
Pottery is the most ancient cooking method that history ever known, it is the material from which the pottery ware is made or manufactured. Archaeologists believe that pottery ware objects go back to 206 BC.

Cook pigeons in boiled water as you do chicken. Then roast them in a wide skillet from all sides.
In oven tray, prepare rice then place pigeons within rice and fill with broth. Cover tray with aluminum foil and cook in oven until well done.

Rice and pigeon pot ingredients:

  • 6 pigeons, or as desired
  • 2 cups AbuKass rice, soaked in hot water
  • Quarter kilo chicken liver
  • Quarter kilo pigeons' offal 
  • 2 cups cooking cream, warm
  • 4 cups broth
  • 3 tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Ground cloves
  • Salt and black pepper as desired
